To better understand the composition of a continuum robot, we made a system flowchart to explain its engineering principles

To encourage students to apply their own ideas in robot making process, we included several predesigned themes in our instruction set (such as this light tracking eyeball!)

We tested our instruction set on 20 freshman in our school and let them fill out a satisfaction questionnaire
We made several instruction improvements based on the feedback collected from users

NEXT STEP
Due to COVID we were unable to test the instruction set on real high school students. We would love to send the information to high school and gather more feedback from this user group.
More predesigned themes can be developed and included in the instruction set.
The whole project will be open source one day so everyone who is interested in this topic has access to our research results.
